Mike Banes, Owner & Operator

Mike didn’t just learn roofing; he grew up in the industry. For over 20 years, he has navigated the rooflines of Montgomery County, beginning his journey within a local family tradition established back in 1950. Mike’s father founded Banes Roofing over seven decades ago, instilling in him the traditional craftsmanship and reliability that remain the foundation of his work today.

In 2018, Mike launched ELR Roofing L.L.C. to bring a new level of expert project oversight to the Perkiomen Valley. Named after his three daughters—Ella, Livia, and Riley—ELR is a family mission supported by his wife, Tara. When he isn’t managing a job site to the ELR Standard, you’ll likely find Mike on the softball field, where he spent years coaching with the Perkiomenville Community League.
